Homemade face masks for radiant skin

Most people do not pay enough attention to skincare. Many people believe that facial problems can only be solved with professional cosmetic facial treatments. Still, it is true that our kitchen has certain foods that have healing properties on the skin. Just as we take care of our skin from the inside out by consuming certain nutrients, it needs to be nourished and hydrated from the outside from time to time. Home-made natural face masks are the best way to do this.

Ten to twenty minutes, that’s how long it takes for masks to do their magic, is probably the most generous gesture you can give to your skin. The only question is which mask to choose, or which foods will best solve your problem. It is important to choose a mask that will not be too aggressive, that suits your skin type and that will, of course, give the desired results.

Green clay mask

.

The so-called green mask is a great choice if you want to restore a healthy glow to your face and get rid of imperfections. Nim powder helps with skin problems such as acne, scars, blackheads or pigmentation, and even more severe forms, such as eczema and psoriasis. Green clay is also great for fighting acne. Of all the clays, green has the best effect and nourishes the skin layers with natural nutrients and extracts toxins from them.

Ingredients:

4 tablespoons Nim powder
4 tablespoons green clay
4 tablespoons coconut milk powder

Preparation:

Fill a clean jar with a mixture of four tablespoons of Nim powder, four tablespoons of green clay, and four tablespoons of coconut milk powder. When you are ready to apply the mask, pour one tablespoon of the mixture into a clean bowl and add water (just enough so that the mixture takes on a creamy consistency, but be careful so it doesn’t become too thin) to activate the mask. Apply the mask to the skin and leave it for 15 minutes. Remove with a soft cotton cloth and lukewarm water.

a little bit of aloe vera juice

Mask with avocado and oatmeal

.

This delicious, completely edible mask contains three shining stars, and all work wonders for your face – avocado hydrates the skin, oatmeal soothes the skin and removes sebum, and honey has antibacterial and anti-inflammatory effects.

Ingredients:

1/4 ripe avocado
1 tablespoon oatmeal
1 tablespoon of honey

Preparation:

In a bowl, mash the avocado. Add a tablespoon of chopped oatmeal and a tablespoon of honey. Stir until the mixture becomes compact, or until all the ingredients are well combined. Apply the mask to a clean and dry face and leave for 10 minutes. Rinse with lukewarm water and apply moisturizer.

Mask with chamomile, honey and yeast

.

Honey is a natural antibacterial remedy, making it the perfect base for masks designed for problematic acne-prone skin. Edible yeast is also great in treating acne, as it is rich in B vitamins that help soothe the skin.

Ingredients:

1 cup chamomile tea (brewed with 2 bags)
1 tablespoon of honey
1 teaspoon fresh yeast

Preparation:

Make one cup of chamomile tea with two tea bags and let it cool. In a small bowl, mix a tablespoon of honey and a teaspoon of fresh yeast. While the tea is still lukewarm, pour it gradually into the mixture with the honey and yeast. Only put as much as it’s needed to get a thicker paste but it’s still liquid enough to be smeared on the skin. Allow the mixture to cool completely, then apply a thin layer to the face and leave for 20 minutes. Rinse and dry. After that, be sure to moisturize your face with a cream.

Daily skin care is the only right way to beautiful and healthy skin. Just as you nourish your skin on the outside with a variety of cosmetics, skincare on the inside is just as important.
